Update: I very seldom use the CD/DVD player,- so I have a couple of rides with mounts on this slot... Good for GPS and cellphone-waze
Then,- I removed my dashboard mount and instead used a couple of air freshener cans and stuck the circle mount on it,- and used it for my GPS.... The air freshener cans are in the front cup holders.... No problem with the GPS locking in on the satellite signals....
For the dashcam,- no choice,- I use the windshield behind the rearview mirror as mount - puro marka na nga ng suction cup, because I am transferring them from one ride to another....

September 5th, 2016 04:44 PM #25Just be weary of the placement of your mounts. Take note of the airbag placement as well so as not to block them in case it gets activated.

I have posted this in another thread but hopefully will help in making the right decision. I am using a clip attached to the stalk of the rear view mirror..

maybe you want to consider this. it's a ring that can be attached to back of the phone to act as holder and kickstand. and it comes with a hook that you can put in your car. so you can hook your cellphone.
