Di ba yung GPS topic dito is yung pwede magamit to track your vehicle if ma carnap?
Or is the question pertains to GPS Maps/Navigation na built-in sa car natin?
It's more about navigation.

On my head unit and phone I have the OsmAnd app. And in this app I have saved the entire road map of the Philippines and an even more detailed set of maps for Luzon island and Metro Manila (this includes buildings, landmarks, trails, fire roads, traffic lights, stop signs, crosswalks, etc).

There is always a need to have an offline resource for navigation purposes. OsmAnd uses geographic data from the OpenStreetMap project, which provides updated maps for free. One can use these detailed maps without cellphone service or a need to pay data/roaming charges, this includes areas which are off the grid or if there is a massive power outage (like during natural disasters).

The files are also available in Garmin image file format in case you need maps on your watch, bike, golf cart, ATV, etc. For seafaring guys, you might want to check out OpenSeaMap.
