what brand of back-up camera/sensor would be the best? i just have a budget of 5k for it. would that be enough?

5k is more than enough. saw one at banawe for around 2k. its about an inch in diameter with night vision. its a screw-in type.

nope. just the cam. much better if you have an existing lcd monitor.

unfortunately it has to be drilled sa bumper; flush type installation.

This is my rear camera. It's about 6,500.00 petot pero worth it! The night vision is very clear kahit na sobrang lakas ng ulan.
This was mounted at the back of the car in between the lights of the rear plate number. It was angled in such a way that you can see at least 1 meter from the bumper of the car.
I got this from MASPRO in Banawe. You can call them up at 731-0301 and look for Sir Benjie. They also have others pa naman if you like if the price is a bit too high. Although the next best rear cam is about 3K

ey nandito ka narin pala, got my backup camera a while back for 2.5k sa araneta car accessories.naka install sa bumper nung isa kong ride kaso pag nabangga bumper siguradong wasak yung camera, it comes with the night vision na. yung sa expe ko nga papapalitan ko narin kasi walang night vision yun and it cost me 4k pa.

got my night vision rear back up camera back around Nov-Dec of 2007 for P2500, until now, its still working fine. at banawe (Leira Gney Enterprise)
