December 20th, 2019 09:57 AM #1Hi mga sir. Ask ko lang sino ang naka-Keon Sondra? Balak ko kasi magpainstall nung KS70.2 nila. Malakas ba talaga ang buga ng LED nila? Sobrang lakas kasi dun sa mga pinopost nila, pero may nagsasabi na hindi daw malakas.
HID ako ngayon currently, and sobrang satisfied ako sa ilaw dahil sobrang lakas. Kaso sobrang pricey imaintain ng HID dahil ballast at bulb ang pinapalitan kaya cinoconsider ko magLED. Ayoko lang sana madisappoint once nagLED ako. Okay ba Keon Sondra mga sir?

Basta ang alam ko yung isang seller ng Keon Sondra nagtanong dun sa isang kilalang retrofitter kung pwede daw ba magparetrofit ng HID kasi mahina daw buga ng LED niya. [emoji23][emoji23]

Depends on the led chip used i think. I tried leds (other brand though) 2 days lang sa akin, Tinanggal ko na.

December 21st, 2019 02:55 AM #4Even the best KS LEDs won't be as good as your HIDs. Assuming you have OEM HID projectors or a proper retrofit the system is designed to work as a whole, vs a LED bulb going into an existing reflector or projector housing which is just adapting a new light source into an enclosure not really designed for it.
If you get a good ballast it'll last you years. My 2007 WRX is still on the original bulb and ballast and going strong till today.

December 22nd, 2019 12:26 AM #5Forgot na meron nga palang dicussion regarding KS vs HID about 2 years ago in the retrofit thread. There was a member who had a super good setup with KS LEDs in a projector housing. You might want to look into doing something like that.
