Good bright headlight to replace the stock headlight?

Waste of money if you will use stock halogens. Might as well get the Taiwan/China replacement assemblies with projectors for halogens at your suking accessory store.

You mean you want to retrofit your stock halogen reflector headlamps with halogen projectors?

What for? Halogen projectors and reflectors have practically the same level of output.

The better option is to upgrade your stock halogen (whether reflector or projector) into projector HID.

Cheapest options that are of good quality are at 8-10k. These "stage 1" upgrades use Morimoto H1 projectors which already provide much better output than stock halogen headlamps.

There are hobo'r halogen replacements. The new generation plugNplay Water resistant LED bulbs now come with integral fan & without bulky ballasts. They can be had for sub$50 a pair. Most are listed for 50k hrs. So far, bang4buck mod.
