imho, magagamit nya yung oto since wala naman alarm and meron syang documents na hawak.
but moving forward, what he/she has to do is to coordinate with the bank kung saan naka mortgage yung oto and the things that they need to do to free up the mortgage. malay natin o hindi, baka wala naman talaganag problem na yung oto and may mali sa database or something.
yun nga lang, mukhang maluluge sya dyan dahil he/she will have to spend kung talagang meron utang, or possibly baka pwedeng hatakin ng bangko.
lessons learned, ika nga.

June 10th, 2013 11:29 AM #3nacheck na po nya sa bangko at nalaman may balanse pa pala talaga tpos may kaso na daw for repo. malamang ngayon kinukulit na yung first owner nung kotse. ang kinakatakot nya ngayon baka magulat na lang sya bigla magkaalarma yung kotse since yung first owner ay kinukulit na ng bangko malamang sa ngayon. so baka ideclare ng bangko daw or ng first owner na car nap at habang gamit nya itong kotse ay maspottan sya na ginagamit ito at ikulong sya.

June 10th, 2013 11:30 AM #4actually sir yebo the price of the car was good enough. kasi mabenta nya lang at kumita ng 50k ay ok na sa kanya at sabi ng seller ay need lang talaga ng pera. kaya di din sya nagtaka dahil maliit na kita sa kanya ay ayos na basta umikot lang yung pera nya na hawak

Your friend's option would be to:
A. Run after the seller.
B. Contact the bank and settle the balance.
How did the seller end up with the car? Did the first owner sell it to him at a low price?
Who from the seller signed on the deed of sale? The Korean or pinay? Usually, a cedula number or any government issued ID number is required to notarize the document.
How did you find the seller? Perhaps you can search for their place of residence?
Unfortunately, your friend was conned. He is not in a good position and since he is already aware that there is a problem with the vehicle, he should do his best to settle it otherwise, he may get in more trouble.
