September 15th, 2010 09:45 AM #13As per advise po kung 1998 yung unit nyo better get an insurance na maraming ka tie-up na repair shop or better yet ka-tie up ng suking or trusted shop mo for repair because lets say that a 12 year unit vehicle had an accident and so happen to have a in-house "casa" insurance they will take your unit for repair but they will use all oem "brand new" parts which of course you need to pay another participation for that not unlike a third party shop wherein they are amenable to surplas or replacement parts for you to all pay the participation fee.
In regards with installment insurance your unit is covered from the time you made your down payment but if your unit had an accident on the period your are still paying your monthly installment they ask you first to setle your balance first before they will entaertain your claim
