December 19th, 2012 10:15 AM #22Unioil now pumps EURODiesel IV in all stations nationwide
Words by Christopher Kho
It goes without saying that diesels are dirty (at least here in the Philippines, anyway). And yes, I'm referring to both the fuel and the engine. Okay, there are some newer cars out there that run on cleaner and newer diesel technology, but in reality, most of the ones that ply our roads don't. Our government, or more specifically the Climate Change Commission (CCC), actually has plans to rehabilitate some 500,000 PUVs that will reduce soot emissions by up to 80%, but that project will cost us P26 billion. So what if I tell you there's a way to get the same result without spending an extra penny? That's right, the answer is cleaner diesel fuel, and it's called EURODiesel IV from Unioil.
While the Department of Environment and Natural Resources's (DENR) mandate to use Euro IV fuel is still three years away, all Unioil stations nationwide now carry EURODiesel IV - the cleanest and most advanced diesel fuel in the country.

sir qoute ko lang nasa adds nila ha....
"they do however advise replacement of old fuel pump seals and O-rings to avoid possible seal shrinkage "
mag shrink daw O-rings and pump seals...
is it bec. of the low sulfur content?
baka pati B.NEW O-RINGS and pump seals hindi din tumagal at mag shrink?
kung naapektuhan ang O-Rings and pumps seals.... what about the other parts like the noozle etc...?

December 19th, 2012 02:00 PM #25I have already tried their new Euro IV diesel and all I could say is it is now my new favorite gasoline station, next is Seaoil. Although the fuel price is .10 more expensive than Seaoil's, Fairview area, I felt that the engine response is tad better and lesser vibration.
I hope they would put up more stations along Commonwealth Ave. since I dread passing on that road, Regalado, since the traffic is slower due to the rows of schools along the road.

modern diesel engine including the innova requres the euro diesel 4 even the 2005 version baka their referring to the oldest of the old type of pangpasaherong jeep those are warnings for the oldest of the old diesel type engine.
as one tsikoter here posted(2 post above) mas naging responsive ang engine due to the nice compression and combustion of the diesel fuel.(MAS MALAKAS ANG COMBUSTION HENCE MIGHT PRODUCE MORE HEAT WHICH IS GOOD SA DIESEL ENGINE BUT BAD ON GASOLONE WHICH MIGHT CAUSE THE SHRINKAGE I MIGHT BE WRONG OF-COURSE) if your diesel engine is from the 1990's below medyo tagilid ka BUT! kung papalitan mo yung o rings mo and pump seal for with modern design (cheap lang yan) eh okay na yung engine mo. tulad ng bioethanol, kailangan mo lang palitan yun ring sealant sa may gas para maging bio ethanol compliant na ang auto kahit gaano pa kaluma yung engine(search youtube or ed china's instruction to do just that for diy)
all manufacturer have already upgraded their engine's to euro standard (ewan ko lang instik made cars same goes with malayasian)

Any improvement in the Fuel Mileage as well using EuroIV Diesel? How about the Big 3? Will they invest in EuroIV compliant standard?

December 19th, 2012 02:28 PM #28Fuel mileage was almost the same with Seaoil. I don't know when the big 3 will invest in euro IV compliant diesel but after trying Unioil and Seaoil, I don't even consider gassing up in the big 3 stations anymore unless I don't have a choice but Petron would be the one that I would pick.

have been a user of unioil diesel 50pppm and now diesel euro IV since i got my monty last february. less vibration, smoke and smell compared to the big three. much cheaper also compared to TD and Nitro.
just want to ask if anybody who lives in parañaque area tried the unioil beside puregold along sucat rd? dinadayo ko pa kasi yung katabi ng wilcon. feeling ko lang kasi mas malinis yung nasa tabi ng wilcon compared sa puregold kung saan mas malapit ako
