1995 Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6 GLXi
11.6 km/L
Pure city driving (light to moderate traffic, mostly C5)
I find this quite hard to believe but this is manual computation so it's pretty accurate. Last time I computed, mas mataas pa, nasa 12 km/L. And to think this is a car whose check engine light turns on whenever you go over 60 kph.

2006 Honda City 1.5 (CVT)
10.35 km/L
Mostly highway driving (75% SLEX, 25% EDSA/C5/Calamba)
To be honest, I expected this car to be more efficient than it was. Admittedly, I wasn't all that economical with my driving on the highway, but I was still expecting something in the range of 12-14 km/L. I think it has something to do with the CVT gearing, which has the car running at 2,500 rpm when at 100 kph and already at 6,000 rpm at 170 kph. It seems to be lacking a long overdrive "gear" for highway driving.
Also, I'm not particularly impressed with the L15A engine. Considering this is the engine that ricers in Honda Jazzes love to fiddle with so much, it seems pretty breathless at anything past 140 kph.

Spooling the turbo whenever given the chance. For its performance, the consumption is worth it.
