August 9th, 2010 03:10 PM #1hello,
i want to start this thread kasi laging nagtatas o nagbababa ang mga gas prices evry mon-tues. kadalasan tumataas, minsan lang bumababa.
any info would be greatly appreciated and i hope we could contribute something here every week para we could fill up our gas tank accordingly.

^^ it's a 'two-step-forward-one-step-backward' style. 1 peso increase, 50 cents decrease.
and sabi nga ni sir ghosthunter... it will always move up.
What I do is to listen to the news starting at 5pm, and monitor the increase or decrease.

the price of oil is not dictated by oil companies or OPEC
the price of oil is determined by the market
oil is traded on international commodities exchanges
players in the exchanges buy and sell contracts
the prices are determined by all sorts of factors -- from dollar strength/weakness to geopolitics
the prices are beyond the control of any "oil cartel"Last edited by uls; August 10th, 2010 at 01:21 PM.
