no because there is no throttle valve which helps generates the vacuum inside the intake manifold.

And finally, are there adverse effects on the engine if the installation will have leaks or the vacuum gauge becomes damaged at any time?

yes, if you have leaks in the installation, your engine can run a little "funky" because the air-fuel ratio will be leaner than it should be.

I think puwede naman, as long alam nila alin ang vaccum line at paano maglagay ng connectors na hindi mag leak.
