Good day!
We're planning to get a used pick-up mostly be used
for hauling our furnitures when we buy a new one
or when transferring house
and para pagpunta sa mga lupain namin sa North
na pwede dahil hindi pa maayos ang mga daanan and
para maipasok sa loob ng lote dahil may kanal na 3inch deep
I'm prefering an Automatic transmission one
budget is up to 400k pwede pa magdagdag

October 20th, 2014 10:41 PM #3It seems that you need a 4x4 truck. These typically have high resale values, and so there aren't that many choices available. I'd go for either the Fuego or the late model Strada. Both have similar power output and widespread parts supply.

Furniture, moving house? You need one with a big bed. F150. Yep its gas but it will not be your daily driver naman. Yan sana una ko bibilhin ayaw lang ng misis ko ang 2nd hand. Dami sa olx.

Would go for an Isuzu Dmax, marami yan sa OLX.
Why? I have a first gen Isuzu Alterra (based on Dmax), and still runs like new.
Bumigay na yung newer cars that we have (korean ones).

October 23rd, 2014 02:00 AM #10Both the Hilux and Ranger are excellent workhorses but AFAIK, the models that fit your budget do not have matic variants.
I personally prefer the Strada. The design ages gracefully. From what I can see, prices are actually considered low if compared to the Hilux of the same era. 4D56 engine also means cheap and universally available parts supply.
How much are you willing to stretch? Kung mga 500k pasok na ang D-Max and Ranger 2.5TDCi with some haggling.
