For Audi, I only rode my friend's Q5 but it's still new so can't comment on reliability yet. No experience yet on Lexus so can't comment yet. People here still go for the image of Benz.

did he get it brand new? my dad owned all S class's that came out since 2000 and none of them had any issues at all, he owns it for 3-5 years before he sells it. of course this was maintained properly, he still has 1 left right now and he got it in 06 still no problems at all. we've owned a couple of bmw's but only x3's and x5's, on one of our x3 we had a couple of electrical issues like the power windows not responding but nothing bmw casa couldn't fix and they fixed it for free.

from my experience, bmw and mb was much more reliable than any asian car we've owned. yon nga lang talo ka talaga sa maintenance. but what i love the most on bmw's and mb's is matigas ang kaha and the paint is really hard to scratch, unlike jap cars kahit kuko lang gamitin mo pwede mo gasgasan and malambot ang body.

i can't the say the same on audi since no one in my family has one. i've known a couple of people who owns one but they usually replace their car after 3 years.

My dad only bought 1 second hand S class, the previous S class which coincidentally has the most electronic issue. The mileage was around 15k km only but it feels like it was used for 5 years already. You're lucky the BMW window repair is free. My in-law paid around 15k for it. But I guess to each their own experience. And I agree ang tigas ng kaha, parang pickup yun kapal. Sana ilabas rin Infiniti dito. It looks better than Lexus.

well that was in the states, maintenance of bmw's in the states is very cheap. and yes sana nga ilabas ang infiniti dito, i really like the fx35 and g37.

Sana nga dalhin na nang NMPI-Yulon ang Infiniti brand here!

The Lexus cars are just fine!

Sayang yang Genesis Sedan, dapat mas malaki ang engine nyan at mas maganda ang pricing para mas maraming bumili!

Why the hell would they bring Infiniti if the main Nissan line is not even selling well...

Maganda ang pricing ng Genesis Sedan, its a killer. Pero Hyundai eh so no one is ready to shell out P3M for a Hyundai...

I think local Hyundai distributor and their dealers are not yet ready to sell higher end cars. I don't recall them trying to market the Genesis sedan at all.

I think for now Hyundai has a price barrier of P2M anything beyond that is not acceptable to the market... Also look at the Veracruz, very well equipped pero I see way more CX-9's than it even though spec wise I would say the Veracruz is even more loaded and more practical...

The Genesis Sedan was really a strange marketing decision on the part of Hyundai (not HARI, mind you... Hyundai Global).

It's sort of like the VW Phaeton... a gloriously over-engineered and great car, selling for much less money than its "luxury" counterparts.

And yet, nobody ever thinks about it. They think Hyundai and SUVs... okay... Hyundai and economy cars... okay... Hyundai and Sports Cars... they make sportscars? Oh, yeah, they do!

    But Hyundai and luxury cars? .... ... ... .. . . You're kidding, right?

It'll take them a long time to get to the level of acceptance, or at least, recognition, that Lexus and Infiniti are at.

At least they're selling Genesis Coupes. The Phaeton? Totally dead in the water...

The problem with the Veracruz versus the CX9 is that the Veracruz is very well-loaded... but not quite as ***y as the CX9. That's actually the same reason most people pass over the Lexus IS when shopping in the 3-series class... the IS's competitors are all more eye-catching.

People have shown they're willing to shell out lots of money for a Hyundai... the high-end Tucson and the Genesis Coupe V6 sell pretty well. It's just that the 2.7-3m offerings aren't quite ***y enough. (The Genesis Sedan is sort of ***y... but more in a quiet, understated Lexus way... it needs to shout like the Sonata and Coupe, instead)

Oh well... the small Lexus I'm really waiting for is their version of the Prius hybrid. Word is it's coming in. I've been seeing them around (probably grays or evaluation units), and given how well the RX-hybrid drives, I can't wait to see it in action.

The Genesis Sedan is almost the same size ng Accord but its not really that special..At that price eh mag Chrysler 300C ka nalang(CDRI or 3.5 Liter V6 variant).Ganda nga lang ng audio system nya(Lexicon)!

Nothing strange about the GENESIS sedan. It is actually a strategic decision made years ago.

GENESIS will be Hyundai's independent luxury brand like Lexus is to Toyota.

    This is the initial salvo.
