Civic would be the better choice here but since you plan on selling it anyways after a year, mas ok nga na Vios nalang.

Why not get a Civic 1.8S? I don't like the Civic 1.8V either.
The Vios is a better secondhand car if you just want something durable and fuel efficient to get you from point A to point B.
If you value performance, space, class, and driving feel, the Civic is much much better. Only drawback is higher fuel consumption and maintenance costs.
For me, it's a no-brainer to get a Civic but you might have different priorities.

July 14th, 2017 03:38 PM #19I'm also eyeing a 2005 Civic VTI-S, but I'm wary because of its price. It's being sold at 235K, which I think might be too low. I haven't personally looked at it yet so I'm not really sure. I mean if it's legit, I'd definitely consider buying it. Are there any signs I need to look for when I go check it out? Can it really be that inexpensive (relatively). It has almost 120k on the odo.
