I had go with the innova given the choices mentioned
    Why?
    Bigger
    Has higher ground clearance
    Bigger wheels
More spacious cabin compared to the Ertiga
Has bigger luggage space with the 3rd row in used
longer and wider which means you can haul more stuffs for your wife's business

Yes the Innova J is bare but it is equipped with dual front airbags
and you can install aftermarket accessories if the Innova J is bare =))

Salamat po sa lahat ng nagreply. At this point, it seems we're going for the Innova na. Pero we'll wait for the next generation to come out.
The Innova's known durability and reliability, parts availability and resale value were the main reasons why we chose Innova. The new Innova looks good on picture by the way. And since it is diesel, probably more economical in terms of total fuel cost (though I have no data to back this up). Actually more on the re-sale value yung main consideration, because when it's time to upgrade again, re-sale value of the car will play a major role.
Yun nga lang if we get the next generation Innova, baka may mga issues that are usually found sa mga bagong labas na kotse.

Anyways, wala pa naman exact date when the new Innova will come out so baka magbago pa isip namin ni commander.

Good decision. Since galing ka rin naman full size AUV then ok yan choice mo. Either ertiga or innova you wont go wrong with your choice. And yes, wait for the new body.

Good choice bro. But you'd have to factor in the price increase with the new model as well as possible first batch defects like the current model's choking issues.

The best part is that my weekly diesel consumption is 300php for 140+ km travel. Tumataas FC kung long distance travel.
Wow ang tipid nito!! Anong route nyo sir? Edsa ba na super traffic lagi? Thanks sir!

Mura diesel ngayon kaya you get more milage vs cost of fuel. Best measure pa din ng fuel economy is to compute yung kilometers traveled per liter.

300 pesos is already 15 liters of diesel. At 140 km per 15L, that's about 9.6 km/L which is just about right for a diesel Innova.

Sige ganyan gawin ko to compare suzuki ertiga GL vs innova J diesel. Same dilemma ako now e. Gusto ko lang makasigurado na kung sulit ba yung 200k more innova J diesel vs ertiga GL.

Isa pang consideration yung pag-uwi namin ng baler, panget ng daan dun e.

    Aside sa price and capacity..
Parang ang laban ay gasoline vs diesel..
    .
Maraming nag sasabi. Mahal ang gasoline pero low maintenance naman ang engine unlike ng diesel na mura pero high maintenance..

Sa diesel kaylangan mo pa initin ang makina bago e takbo. Sa gasoline in a few minutes pwd mo na e takbo..
