balak ibenta ng pinsan ko sentra series 3 nya samin para sa kapatid ko at Php250k, 90k mileage kaso pag byahe to province pag nasa highway there are times that it blows out white smoke kaya parang overpriced na kung ipapa overhaul pa namin... gusto nya kasi bili ng x-trail... hehehe... pero sarap pa din nya ibyahe... lagi ako dun sumasakay pag byahe para makapag yosi.. ^^
what do you guys think? advice naman po...
*mods: pa move na lang po kung nasa maling room... sorry po if ever... hehe
one more thing, minsan pag start nya yun, di kagad nag start sa first try... minsan lang naman...

Bought it a year earlier for 240K.

June 24th, 2009 11:08 PM #4P250K for a 96 to 98 model Sentra... a little overpriced, especially when it's possible that it has some major engine repairs that will be needed to be done soon.

Honestly, you can get a mechanically problem-free Sentra series 3 with a SR20 engine under the hood for that money and still have some left over for repairs and other work.
BTW Nissan X-Trails aren't cheap. They start at around P500K for the 2.0L 4x2 models.
My advise, don't buy it because you would simply be buying someone else's problem. Better choose a car with less or no defects.

*blacksun - 99 model po siya...
*ghost - oo nga, mukhang engine problem nga... pina top overhaul nya yun dati, sandali lang nawala bumalik din... thing is, ayaw ko kasi wala din naman gagamit and lagi din ako nakasakay dun pag tinatamad ako magdrive... haha! brand new x-trail po buy nya, for mods daw sana yung pera na makukuwa pag nabenta... ^^
pano na po kaya gagawin dun sa engine nya na yun? overhaul na po kaya talaga? nasasayangan kasi kami eh... sarap pa naman i-drive nun... hehe... dami din namin fun memories dun sa auto na yun kaya pinipilit ko na wag na ibenta since tinanggihan ko na... haha! kahit pang city driving na lang pag coding x-trail nya ok na yun...

July 9th, 2009 06:22 PM #7afaik sentra super touring were released from 1996-1997. wala na po yata super touring from 1998 onwards kasi pinalitan na ng gts.. gts was released from 1999 to 2000?

July 11th, 2009 08:12 PM #10bossing, mabuti naman at pass ka na lang sa kotseng yan. marami pa namang ibang good-condition na sentra sa price range na yan. konting self-control lang. besides, any s3 in good condition will drive as good as that car. and those fun memories? i assure you, they're nothing compared to the memories you'll have in case it stalls... btw, that white smoke is probably water, not oil. maybe you have a head gasket leak. madali lang kung yun lang ang problema. pera lang...
