November 12th, 2008 04:00 PM #12am not sure if my opinion counts but we drive a 2006 MAZDA TRIBUTE w/c we all know share the same c1 platform and are pretty much twin sisters on everything...
our tribute rides very well.. super sarap sumakay, you wouldnt feel the potholes hovering all over the metro roads. i dont know if it has changed sa new model pero for me mejo mabagal umarangkada from a complete stop. unless ofcourse apakan at ihataw mo talaga xia.
malamig ang aircon.. minsan it works to the passengers detriment kasi sobrang lamig talaga. i have to turn it off once in a while kasi malamig e. hehe
anyway, fuel efficiency wise, its what you would expect from an SUV, 6-6.5km per liter lang xia sa mixed driving.. Coastal road to macapagal to edsa to mandaluyong
pag long drives nakaka 9 to 10kml xia.
tribute/escape is a great car to drive.
i cant say much about the altis though. but if i had the money and no car yet, i would definitely choose the escape over the altis.

between the two, wala. Escape is slow from take off. Altis is ok pero maraming rattle problems (just read the thread 10G corolla problems).
