July 14th, 2013 01:05 AM #1I dont know kung may thread na Mods paki merge na lang...
Nag-aambition ng LC 200 just wondering ano mas ok yung Local O dubai Version
Local
- P4.4M
- Lesser accesories
- sabi saakin masmatulin daw kaysa sa Dubai Version
- service Toyota
Dubai
- P4M
- MAS maraming accesories
- Kinetic suspension
- service 3rd party?
Dami ko nakiita LC 200 sa kalye but most of them are from gray market. Bihira pa rin yung local version.
I know that LC's are for keeps but still ibebenta rin pag matanda na ano ang mas may resale value between the two?

July 14th, 2013 02:01 AM #3For me mas malinis ang dating nung local version. Yung Dubai version kasi parang tadtad ng burloloy sa labas, ang pinaka ayaw ko yung GXR na may chin spoiler saka chin skirt.

You can have the nifty options like dual spare tires, dual fuel tanks, rear differential lock, towing kit, electric winch, etc on gray market models.
You can also have one with the fj cruiser and 4 runner's 4.0liter v6 for those not wanting a v8.

I am curious? Bakit mas more value ang local.. Mas madami ang features ng dubai version over the LOCAL.. Kung nag alala ka sa service, so far going 5 years na yung LC200 (dubai) namin, wala pa kaming naging problema.. Toyota will still accept service..
BTW, don't get yung tire sa likod, hirap sa mga malls kapag nagkakarga ka ng gamit.. You need a bigger space specially sa likod.

get the dubai version, it has better features for less money. resale value is the same but it will be easier to sell the dubai version since more people are opting for it.

Hi TS:
Here is what I know:
Local LC200
- VX Grade
- Optitron Gauges with MID
- Smart Entry on all four doors
- KDSS
- Power Seats with Height Adjustment and Cooling/Heating function
- DRL
Local and Dubai versions have the same 1VD-FTV 4.5L Twin Turbo Diesel Engine.
When buying an imported version either from Dubai or Russia, you can select what LC200 trim you like - from ordinary G8 (same white LC200s used by UN) to top of the line Euro-spec VXTD.
The ones usually sold here by the gray market is the GXR trim with 4.5 V8 Diesel. However, they still have a varying options across dealers, but generally, they have the following features:
- Analog Gauges
- Cool Box in the Center Console
- Separate Type Front Seat (Slide and Recline only) - although some dealers sell variants with Power Seats
- Body Kit - this is called Toyota Urban Sports Package (front chin, side step garnish, rear chin) or Original Overrider on the Front Bumper
- Pintle Hook for towing
- Built-in DVD/GPS Touch Screen HU, Entertainment Package (varies across dealers)
- No KDSS
- Beige Interior Trim
- Body Stickers (GXR) - VX trim does not have this
Some dealers also have the higher VX grade available - with all the niceties like CRAWL control, 7-channel audio, air suspension, etc. Others may also have LC200 with petrol engines - 4.0 V6, 4.6 V8 and 5.7 V8. Although I think all dealers prefer to sell the 4.5 V8 Diesel.
Prices of these imported units may be as low as 3.6m to as high as 5.5m. Nevertheless, the usual GXR units sold at prices between 4 to 4.2m have all the features you may need.
My unit is a GXR model with the original body kit. I upgraded some components to make it more sleek looking and I'm very very satisfied every second I drive it.
The best suggestion I can give you if you are planning to buy a LC200 is to study the features and ask yourself if you need them. Then you can hunt for a unit that has more or less the things you need and look for a good deal.
Happy LC hunting!
