*For discussion on this thread, focus tayo sa Automatic models lang*
e.g.
Ford Ecosport
Suzuki Ertiga
Mitsubishi Xpander
Toyota Rush and Avanza
Tiggo Line ng Chery
MG ZS
Honda BR-V and Mobilio
Di ba hirap kapag 5 passengers with cargo?

to add...
Mga kilala kong naka Ecosport - ang lakas daw sa gas compared to their old 1.5L Vios/City

Occ. by land.
3 years na samin yung unit this month. Casa-maintained.

December 10th, 2019 06:57 PM #4A bit lacking in punch probably, pero to the point na mabibitin hindi naman siguro. It can be recalled that the Tamaraw FX and Revo had gas engines that made even less power, but seat 10.

December 10th, 2019 06:58 PM #5We owned Honda BR-V. Sa maintenance, same lang ng gastos with our Honda City.
For city driving, enough naman ung 1.5 engine nya hehe.

December 10th, 2019 07:00 PM #6kahit mga compact and higher cars ngayon mostly 1.5L na (ex. civic, mazda3, accord). nilalagyan nalang ng turbo to make up for the lack of power. this is because of tax laws sa china.
regarding yung question on kung maayos ba sa mpv, para sa akin maayos naman. pero kung fully loaded at matarik, medyo mappwersa talaga but it can still do the job.
in our gen 1 ertiga (1.4L), nakaka 13km/l pag out of town trips fully loaded. kasama na ung ikot ikot sa lugar at metro traffic palabas at pauwi ng metro manila. city driving na mostly ako lang, ave. is 8.5km/l.
yung xpander does better. at least 9km/l sa city with 3 occupants + school bags and a lot of waiting. haven't brought it out sa mahabang road trip yet.
in terms of fuel efficiency, the MPVs seem to do better than the SUVs. baka sa weight or how they are mostly driven.

December 10th, 2019 07:11 PM #7ibang klase yan mobilio pag ako pinapadrive pag lumalabas kami groupo ko.
Syempre madaling-araw yun, 17kilometers per liter. TApos one time sa sta mesa bridge yung pababa bago mag pureza nagulat ako nag 20kilometers!!!!
