October 14th, 2011 03:46 PM #2Ford Lynx for the performance, features and space. Honda City for overall lower operation costs, but still with decent performance.

If you want a Lynx with low operational costs, try to find the LSi variant. You can get an 02 LSi for just over 200k.
Medyo bare yung interior, but the engine is a 1.3 EFI with sufficient power, handling is good, the body is strong and stiffer than the City sedan and space is pretty good.
The basic 98 1.6 Lynx is a nice car, but they're not very fuel efficient, and that generation of Lynx had sensor issues (but if those were repaired with parts from the newer second-generation models, they should be reliable.... the cam position sensor was upgraded for the second gen).
