May 9th, 2019 02:34 PM #1My family is growing and we need a bigger ride. Order of priority is as follows:
1. Room - from what I've seen, crossovers and AUV/SUV should be ok for our needs. Reclining chairs so we can fit a bigger cargo from time to time is a plus.
2. Value for money - favor features like good ac / ventilation, better quality parts, better interiors, and features and lower maintenance cost over cosmetics.
3. Maintenance and serviceability - drive and forget, I don't have time to maintain it apart from annual maintenance.
Thanks in advance.

Based on your requirements, the Innova gets my vote as well. You can't go wrong with one of Toyota's best sellers for many years.
Don't get the Rush, you'll just be disappointed.

1. Lack of power, a 1.5 NA gas engine is woefully slow.
2. Comfort, they made them too high, good ground clearance but you sacrifice on the ride quality.
Also, it feels cramped for a 7 seater, when compared with an Innova.
3. Long term reliability is not yet established. We don't know yet, until a few more years on the road.
I'm also in the market but might be opting for the new KIA Sportage if the SAs get their act together.
Good luck in your search. Let us know how it works out.

May 9th, 2019 08:33 PM #10You could try and check out Toyota Pre-owned then for an Innova that would fit the bill for sub 1m php.
It might not be a 3 year old G trim, I think it would fit as an E trim though. Really depends on Toyota CPO (certified pre-owned). You'd have to be the one to call per branch though in your area of convenience.
