parehas ba ang size ng BT50 bed and ford ranger wt bed? wala kasi ako makita nagtitinda ng bed cover for bt50, for ranger meron. deciding factor din kasi kung may available aftermarket upgrades other than casa. e isa yun sa nakikita kong required upgrades yung bed cover para secure yung nakalagay sa likod.

The bed is exactly the same size and shape, down to the fender-liner hole for the rear power point.

Wahahaha... wala pa yung truck, may balak na.
Yup, everything should fit exactly.
Unlike the Focus and Mazda3, which had some structural differences (but could still use mostly the same parts... suspension parts fit with a little clearancing... engine IHE all the same... differences in cylinder head and ECU, though...), the Ranger/BT50 differences are mostly cosmetic. The BT50 has "Ford" stamped on many of its parts, and when we parked them side-by-side before, all the underchassis parts and the engine bay were completely identical.
Only suspension difference I noticed was that the Mazda had slightly softer shock absorbers... but even that could be simply because I drove an older Mazda test unit beside a brand new Ranger.

onti lang po. yun lang sa headlights saka bed cover ang must do e. yung lift e dapat may kasamang mags at tyres yun, mahal yun ubos pera.
di pa nga nabibili hehehe, decision process pa lang.
pero mukhang malabo na ang ranger, what with the waiting period and that is if in-house financing with DI pa. pag bank P.O. walang pag-asa. i asked for a quote ang tanong agad kung in-house. nung sabi ko na bank P.O. di na sumagot hahaha! leche nila!
speaking of in-house schemes, bakit yung ino-offer sa akin ng mazda greenhills e parang same lang ng rate nasa BPI website? difference lang ng less than 10k ang total cash payments ng in-house (down + 3 years amortization) compared to bank PO purchase (srp less 50k discount, 20% down + 3 years amortization). then pag i-add yung chattel mortgage fee lamang na yung in-house financing! free in both cases yung 1st year insurance and 3 year LTO with tpl, tint, matting. now yung mazda makati yung offer nila e mas mataas, looks like tunay na in-house.
Last edited by yebo; January 20th, 2014 at 05:32 PM.

to make things clear eto compute.
mazda greenhills IN-HOUSE
159k down all-in
3 years = 43,866/month = 1,579,176. dp + 3 yrs payments = 1,738,176 total payments.
4 years = 35,015/month = 1,680,720. dp + 4 yrs payments = 1,839,720 total payments.
free 1st year insurance with aog, chattel mortgage fee, 3 year lto with tpl, tint, mats.
bank PO with BPI
320k down + chattel mortgage fee 25k
3 years = 38,383/month = 1,381,788. dp + 3 yrs payments + chattel mortgage fee = 1,726,788 total payments.
4 years = 30,639/month = 1,470,672. dp + 4 yrs payments + chattel mortgage fee = 1,815,672 total payments.
as you can see, with the 3 year scheme lamang lang ng 11,388 yung bank P.O.
with 4 years scheme difference is 24,048.
for the convenience of putting less money up front (159k all-in versus 320k + 25k, or difference of 186k less) i would rather pay that extra P11,388 in interest over 3 years. that is just like borrowing 186k for just 3,796 interest per year!
