Madaya, puro advance electronics yung Trailblazer! Unfair yan! Ang katapat na nyan Prado at Pajero!

Pero nung inakyat namin yung Mount Samat (dambana ng kagitingan, up to the parking at the top) with 7 people on board plus luggage for 4 days,

At 1.8M (or less) you get TCS, ESP, etc.

With regards to TCS, yung GTV or SE version ng MS ay may Hybrid LSD na, kaya the need for the TCS is not that needed na. Idadgdag mopa yung shift on the fly at 100kph to 4H and 4L.

Maraming MS sa Coldillera na 4x2 variants lang and yet they conquer all road type of the province.

If I am not mistaken, that video has already been debunked as a self serving advertising promotion replete with too many obvious manipulations (including the manner of driving)

Best to wait for a more objective comparo done by a reputable tester

Yayain nyo si TB minsan, magset lang kayo ng maraming waiting points at magdala ng baraha, tong-its muna just in-case he make use of all of his gapangers features.

Aside from a must have Anti-Lock Braking System and Dynamic Brake Distribution meron pa syang mga extras:

    Electronic Stability Program
    Hill Start Assist
    Hill Descent Control
    Traction Control
    Hydraulic Brake Assist
    Panic Brake Assist
    Electronic Stability Control
    Engine drag control
    Cornering Brake control
    Hydraulic Brake Fade Assist

The additional controller chips, programming, parts and sensors could cost the manufacture around 1,000-2000 dollars (rough estimate).

Just wondering how much is the cost to maintain such active / complementary safety systems that could easily wear the vital mechanical parts.

Anyway this is good news at binabagsakan na tayo ng mga products and accessories na designed for 5 -years life cycle business model.

The good thing about the TCS is that all wheels are monitored. Sa montero kasi, rear LSD lang so only the rear wheels get the better traction.
Yung front diff nya kasi is an open type.

It has to rely on the disc brakes?

Hope somebody try it in a muddy slippery trail, yung kahit knee deep lang na umabot sa disc brakes ang putik. Just to see the difference of sealed in axle (gear oil coated) vs exposed (mud coated) traction control.

As far as i know, just as what sir glenn_duke said, kapag may TCS na, hindi na kailangan yung LSD.
Yung Pajero BK also have a MASTC kaya wala syang LSD. Same with our 4WD Tucson
