Ive sold my 97 vitara which I am dearly missing. Its a fun vehicle to drive and much more with its offroad capabilities. Now, im contemplating getting a replacement. My choices are Honda Jazz 1.5V, Kia Soul 1.6 and Suzuki Swift 1.4AT. Ive narrowed down the choices to two taking out the Jazz. I realized that the Jazz looks too boyracer-ish and too common. So choices now are the Kia Soul and Suzuki Swift.

If you were to choose, what will you get?.

    The Jazz.

Between the two, the Swift drives nicer. It has a better suspension, with better handling and a better ride. The steering is pretty good, too, better than the Fiesta. And the interior feels higher class than the Soul.

On the other hand, the rear seat is still small, even though it's bigger than before, and the trunk is tiny for this price range. Also, the automatic transmission is very sluggish.

The Soul is more practical. The steering and interior aren't as nice as the Swift's, but it has a spacious cabin and a grunty engine. It also looks pretty dramatic compared to anything else in this price range.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

thanks Niky. pero out pa rin ang Jazz hehe sawang sawa na lang kasi ako sa Jazz makita, even outside the phils, puro Jazz parin. Been going to HK and halos 2 cars lang nakikita ko na 5door hatchback. Either the Golf or Jazz.

The Swift and Soul has different prices, 790K and 919K and I was wondering if the 100K+ difference worth it for the Soul?

    What about the Mazda 2?

Mazdas are known to be generally fun to drive -- namely the CX5, MX5, CX9 etc. -- so I'm guessing the Mazda 2 could be considered as a fun vehicle as well.

Between the choices though, I'd go for the Swift. Could be more fun if gotten in MT though.

Swift AT. Or a Mazda 2 as renzo said.

Pero more special sana if Mazda 2 1.3 MT.

MT to MT, Swift 1.4 MT over the Mazda2 1.3 MT. The Swift has a better suspension (slightly).

AT to AT, Mazda2 1.5 hatchback na. Better engine. Better transmission gear ratios. Better transmission response.

But the Mazda2 MT is lighter than the Swift MT. Seems speced to be a tuner ready too. Way cheaper pa ;)

If I am choosing, I might get the KIA SOUL 1.6L. It's still quite rare on the road and has good power and ride quality. Only downside is the rather high price.

swift looks and drives better. More fuel efficient.
The soul has lots of space in the back and has adequate trunk space. You might also want to consider the suzuki sx4, much more rugged looks with almost the same power of a soul.
