among your choices bro, they look ok.
but i would suggest that you contact the seller, and do a test drive. bring a mechanic with you so he can check everything.
you can never get a second hand car without checking everything and test driving them.

96 model lang ang SE Saloon.
97 models however has driver's airbag.
98 models Series IV has driver's airbag and ABS on SS models, if im not mistaken pati foglights ata meron.
a good used Super Saloon Sentras are good for 8km/l fuel consumption.
mas matipid ang EX-Saloon but less equipped. yung 2000 Exalta EX-Saloon ng lolo ko binenta nya dirt cheap sa ahente nya 140K lang, hulugan pa. hehe if you wanna go EX Saloon, try finding the late S4 version or the Exalta EX-Saloon kase all power na ito except side mirrors. still no tach, no dimming rearview mirror but has tilt steering, 4 speaker stereo, 14" mags.

January 17th, 2008 12:46 PM #5yep +1 ako sa Sentra SS..baba kasi resale value ng sentra dahil sa misconception ng mga buyers pero if you used to drive a sentra you would agree na magaling naman ang performance ng mga sentra. just be sure of the condition ng bibilhin nyo pag maganda pa then go ahead.
gusto ko nga sana buyback sentra ko sa utol ko kaya lang she prefers cash eh kabibili ko pa lang ng brandnew Civic ko..and i can only offered staggered payment..

suggest ko mag sentra ka yung mukhang LEC pero all power, i forgot the model, then yung sukli mo pang sounds and porma sa labas. tipid nyan sa gas and di ka madidisappoint sa aircon. and hindi sya mahirap i maintain.
wag mazda familia, mabibwisit ka lang sa idling problem nyan and anlakas kumain ng gas, although mabilis sya.

November 24th, 2010 12:38 AM #7May Mazda Familia kami, '97 model. Yun din ang problem sa idling. Tapos nung umabot ng 8 yrs, nasira ang servo kit. Nasa P10k ang brand new non . Pero ang maganda kasi sa kotseng to is matulim (Ka level ng Civic) malamig ang aircon, maluwag ang loob ang maganda ang porma. Idling part naayos naman after ito na overhaul. Nabenta namin dahil binaha (ondoy). Kung hindi tumagal pa sa amin.
Bentahan ng Familia nasa P140K-P180K ang price range. Isama mo sa choice kung gusto mo. Fuel consumption sa highway ng 1.6 Familia is 12-13km/l. Yun 1.3 lang ang di ko alam. But still panalo ang Nissan sa FC.

braders, i own a 97 sentra EX saloon and have difficulty getting rid of it...go figure
...solid car, very reliable and havent had any unexpected breakdowns..of course like any car you will have to be consistently meeting the required maintenance schedule...parts are readily available and comparatively cheap...FC is 9-10 km/lt city driving and 15-17km/lt hi-way (thats keeping speed at the 80-90 kph range)..for those who have misgivings about sentras, well am sure they never owned one
so i guess that makes them an authority...on spreading unfounded rumors
...my 2 cents!
