March 5th, 2015 04:24 PM #1Hello again sirs!
Hihinggi sana ako ulit ng tulong. Maraming nakatulong sa kin dati dito when I was looking for my first second hand car.
I've no complains when I decided 3 years ago to get a second hand Vios as my family's first car. Wala akong naging ka-proble-problema sa Vios.
This year nakaipon na ko ulit ng konti and Im planning to replace na yung Vios ko (2005 1.5G model)
Coming from Vios what can you suggest ang good replacement sirs?
Last weekend my wife and I visited some second hand dealers and eto yung mga napagpipilian namin.
1. 2009 Honda Jazz - okay na ko sa 1.3 since Daddy driving naman na ko. Worried ako baka Cagayan or B-Plate makuha namin.
Question sirs:
How can we identify if the unit is converted?
Any known issues ng local unit?
2. 2009 Honda City - as I mentioned ok na ko sa 1.3
Any known issues?
3. 2009 Altis
4. 2009 Vios ulit
TIA sirs!

March 5th, 2015 05:06 PM #2Why replace a second hand, with a second hand of same category?
Just my 2 cents on macro economic perspective.
Why not get a bigger family car, or a brand new sedan. I am not against the 2nd hand pero same banana po kasi.
On your question, i like the jazz and altis.

March 5th, 2015 05:11 PM #3Go with the altis. Its a segment higher than the rest of your choices. Meaning better road presence, better ride quality and space. Although if you are considering space, the honda jazz is also a good choice kaso yun nga mejo matagtag compared sa altis. My family have all your choices except for the vios. I remember when my wife was still pregnant, yung altis or SUV lang gusto nyang sakyan kasi mas comfortable sya.

Another side of the coin lang po... choose Jazz po para ibang brand naman in preparation na rin po sa next purchase mo na hopefully brand new na. Atleast naranasan mo na po ownership ng 2 brands. =)
Pero personally, assuming all cars are in good condition, I might choose the Altis.

If it's in ur choice i'll pick the 2009 altis
ung city 1.3 underpowered daw sabi ng isa kong kaibigan (2009)
Kung wala sa list mo ung FD civic or Toyota rav4

so what's wrong with your current car? is it showing its age? are you bored with it?
if you are bored with it, then it is not the time to replace it. that might be like jumping from the frying pan into the fire.
but if you really want to buy, perhaps if you think about what the car will be used as...Last edited by dr. d; March 6th, 2015 at 12:16 AM.
