October 3rd, 2019 11:40 AM #11the open DOS is pre-signed by the legal owner who sold it.
but the buyer's name and details, still have to be filled in.
the DOS is notarized only after the other blanks are filled in.
even if chpg might honor it, lto does not honor non-notarized DOS.
so why prolong the agony?
but i do not understand how it can be honestly notarized, when the notary reads "...before me appeared...both signatories..".
i suppose, it passes for legal fact, because no one among the signatories, will come forth and testify to the contrary...
the DOS does not expire.
but folks are mindful that the IDs presented, are not expired at the time of fixing the documents.Last edited by dr. d; October 3rd, 2019 at 11:43 AM.
