    Hi all,

I'm planning to buy a brand new car early next year and would like to have your opinion on which car.

We already have a Mux (m/t) so I'm looking for an a/t this time.

    Priorities would be
    1. Driving dynamics
    2. Comfort
    3. Maintenance cost
    4. Fuel economy
    5. Value for money

Space is not a problem since we already have an suv.

    Thanks everyone

I'd spend an extra 100k on top of the 1M and get myself a Civic 1.8L. It checks all those 5 requirements you listed.

Below 1M, I guess you will be hard-pressed to get something that fits all the requirements.

    1. Driving dynamics - Fiesta, Mazda2
    2. Comfort - Altis, Sylphy, Forte
    3. Maintenance cost - Vios, City, Jazz
    4. Fuel economy - Accent CRDi, City/Jazz
    5. Value for money - Mobilio, BRV (7 seats)

This or the vx variant but you have to add p100k more if you want the latter. The fuel economy and the interior quality is awesome for it's price but not necessary the best. Actually, you'll find it having better materials inside than your mu-x.

I agree. City VX owner here. And I am satisfied with the purchase.

Though I have to admit that it is not the most engaging car to drive(if you are into a more sporty ride, then this car is not for you). It’s more on the relaxing side. My passengers often says that the ride is quiet and comfortable for a subcompact sedan.

If space is not an issue, get yourself a Mazda 2 or base Mazda 3. Maintenance should not be a worry with the Yojin 3 program of Mazda, free PMS for 3 years.

I operate a fleet of 14 Uber car, for almost 4 years, I've tried almost all sedans against your priorities (yes including the fiesta, forte, name it)...

My high recommendation goes to Accent CRDI, if you are diesel averse... Accent gas will still beat any sedan in all factors you're looking at.

    PERIOD
