April 23rd, 2011 02:27 AM #1Hi! Need advice, if you are to choose, which one? (setting aside the brandname and looks)
Hyundai Accent GLS 1.4 CVVT AT (P688,000) or
Honda City 1.3 A MT PHP (P691,000.00)
Planning to get one, installment, really tight budget kaya almost decided na sa Hyundai Accent GL 1.4 CVVT MT (P588,000)...but between the two cars above, almost same price, which one?
Thanks!

GLS ako. It's hell newer and AT pa. Really a plus if you're gonna be within the Metro almost all the time.

April 24th, 2011 06:39 PM #3Accent rin ako. Both cars look good but there are already a lot of City's on the road, the Accent has a slight power advantage, longer warranty and AFAIK the Accent is also better spec'd than the City.

Are you even f*cking serious ?
Coolbear ? Oh please. Don't let the TS be a guinea pig & buy a goddamn chinese-copycat-of-the-scion-XB Coolbear.
Have you ever considered what the topic starter might be in if ever problems seep through ? God. Is it just me that I find your posts rather funny than annoying ?
The topic starter is considering two good vehicles and then you start suggesting two crappy vehicles that you barely see on the road. Do you know how ugly the Cedia is ? Do you know how hard does its trunk close ? Do you know how cheap the plastics it has inside ? Do you know that its freaking air condition can't stand the afternoon heat ?
Yes, the cedia is cheap & the cedia is BIG. But did it ever come into your mind why don't you see them on the road that often ?
Yes, rockiee_s owns a coolbear, and has not blurted out a single complaint. But are you completely aware that his car only has 3000kms on it ?

May 1st, 2011 07:30 PM #10Oh well, looks like only time will tell whether the Coolbear is actually worth being inside the garage of anyone here. No need to be this passionate about it.
TS: If your budget is very tight, have you ever considered 2nd hand vehicles? A 2010 Honda City 1.5E is also within your budget, and since its 2010 there are no Ondoy problems to think about. And like I always recommend, what about the Kia Carens? There are some of these that are within your budget as well. Its got CRDi, is blazingly fast, very fuel efficient, uses diesel, and can seat seven people.
