HPG clearance of used car before payment

Hi mga boss. As a buyer, would it be reasonable for me to ask the seller if we can bring the unit to HPG so we could check for alarms before handing over the payment?

So far tatlong sellers ang natanungan ko. Yung isa last month lang nakuha yung bagong CR after removing the encumbrance so OK na daw yun kasi hindi daw siya ma-issuehan ng bagong CR if may alarm (is it true?). The other sellers just seenzoned me after asking.

if the seller agrees, then well and good.
if the seller refuses, then it's up to you what to do next, po.

Pag nag remove ng encumbrance may new issued CR yan..

Kung ang owner - seller mas kampante ako.. pero kung buy and sell or hindi naka pangalan sa seller yung vehicle.. best to have it cleared ng hpg.. mahirap na baka pag transact mo ma arrest ka pa

Salamat Doc and Yapoy. Sana makahanap ng owner/seller mismo at sa kanya rin nakapangalan. Last resort siguro kontakin ko yung nasa CR para ma-verify kahit paano.

Iyong last buy and seller na kausap namin, siya mismo naglakad ng LTO transfer of ownership sa name namin. 15K fee nga lang.

wow 15K.. sobra naman yata yan.. parang wala pang 2K bayad sa HPG and LTO..

very expensive!
but i suppose, that's the price of convenience (12K!) .

i wonder,
how many of us are williing to pay for this convenience?
personally, i might byte...
but tatawaran ko pa.
