November 7th, 2014 04:02 PM #1Hello fellow tsikoteers,
I am planning to get a car this month or early December and im choosing between Toyota Yaris (MT) or Honda City (MT). Any suggestions? Personal choices nyo so that il have a variety of views to consider. Im still single and will be using the car driving around the city, basically home-office-malls-weekend gimmicks.
Thanks for your suggestions.

Which do you prefer? a hatchback or a sedan? If you need the trunk space, go with a sedan (City, Vios). If you need to maximize utility, go for the hatchback (Jazz, Yaris).
The Jazz is to the Yaris while the City is to the Vios. In either comparison, I would go with the City or Jazz, with a slight inclination to the Jazz as it drives better than the City. However, if you want a more responsive drive (better handling, better steering), go with a Fiesta.

Actually they do... If you'll compare it to toyota casa vs honda casa.
but you're right sir, better test them before buying... You'll be surprised that sometimes your preffered car would be the last on your choices

The amount extra you spend comes back to you in savings in terms of having to do fewer oil changes and spending less downtime (if you consider your time money) at the casa.
And then consider that the Honda 1.5 is, currently, more economical than the Toyota 1.5.
