August 19th, 2007 12:20 PM #1Having worked a gen sales manager before in Manila, I know all the tricks and kinks in the local car business. I'm now working here in California and I can help people in buying cars from dealership so they don't become victims of dealers and so called Tulisan na salesman.
Dude, believe me, I know all the tricks kaya don't become a victim...ask me so I can help you with your questions...I can also give you referrals para di kayo maloko. Sad to say, maraming manloloko diyan.
Just post your question and you will see what I mean...how I give advises na di nyo pa naririnig.

August 19th, 2007 01:55 PM #3Ako may tanong...last week kse i left pinas and will be back next month (sept 07)...
But before that i saw this Civic 2.0 MT Limited Edition and i really like it (the agent who i personally knew) ask me to make DP which I did...I gave P235K DP (25% kase P957K yung unit) and all in the name of Honda Shaw dealer...
Sure na daw nakareserve ako (kase 100 units lang daw yung limited - pero dun sa makati dealership sabi sa akin 30 lang daw)...Di naman ako worried kase parang relative ko na to...
Also since I am going to finance it sa BPI (may kilala ako) I got a 2 years rate of 10% lang instead of 15% sa inhouse na gusto nila (one of my friend who bought a 07 strada inabot P1.6M sa 3 years financing instead of P1.2M cash)...
Any more advise?

August 19th, 2007 03:01 PM #4Hello BOGART, may tanong din ako.- Hanggang magkano ba or ilang percent ba ng total amount ng unit ang discount na kaya ibigay ng dealer (toyota) sa mga prospect buyer?

As i can see your with Toyota Cali? kasi toyota CA....
My question is however buying cars naman there in US, usually if you will be migrating to US, the first thing you need is a car( aside from a house you will stay of course) kasi malalayo maybe ang place of work and home.
Is it advisable to buy Brand New or pede na second hand cars there? around how much ang budget for both brand new/second hand? and what are the things we need to know before buying? Thanks sa replies..

August 20th, 2007 12:33 AM #6Well you got the best deal possible na in your case, let me point it out to you:
1. You are financing directly with the bank and not dealer in house kaya better for you since if you finance in house, the difference in the rate is the dealer's commission sa financing.
2. Getting your insurance from BPI is also good in the same manner direct ang insurance mo unlike sa dealer na meron pa silang profit/commission if yoiu get it from them.
3. I am not sure if they really have 40K discount if the unit is really limitted edition. Normally law of supply and demand, if a certain model is HOT and limitted ang supply, they dealers really do not give discounts and sometimes they install accessories and price them HIGH para extra profit sa dealer, while si Cusatomer, due to limitted nga ang availability and atat na atat magkaroon ng specific model, kakagatin. In this case, it is your choice if you want to pay extra.

August 20th, 2007 12:42 AM #7Depende sa model ang discount... The more expensive, mas malaki ang discount kasi more profit. The best is ask at least 3 different dealerships so you can compare the best. Ask them to beat the other dealer's offer until you get the highest discount. Also if the model is hot and walang unit, no discount sila.

August 20th, 2007 12:50 AM #8Welcome to USA!!!
Dito sa America napakadali makabili ng kotse. Kahit sino kaya basta meron kang trabaho. Two requirements lang para makabili ng kotse, 1. Social Security NUmber and US Driver's License.
If you are first time buyer na wala pang credit score, you can get a brand new corolla with only $1,500 down and monthly payment na $380.00 for 60 months. Easy diba. If you earn a minimum wage na $8.00/hour, 4 days of work lang covered na yung monthly mo sa kotse.
Brand new or used okay lang as long do not get a car more than $20,000 para di mabigat sa monthly.
Pag dating mo d2 contact me and I will explain further.

If you are looking for Toyota product then I can help you. Lexus and others you can go to Edmunds.com.
I already sold car that were sent back to the philiippines kaya I know the drill. Just ask you aunt to contact me here at Toyota in Buena Park. We are very close to Knott's Berry Farm. Just ask her to look for MON. I am the Filipino Fleet Manager. Di na siya dadaan sa ahente coz direct na sya sa akin.
Good day Bro!!
