    patakbohin mo lang ng normal iyun sasakyan mo, kung matraffic dahan dahan, kung walang traffic at nasa highway sige ihataw mo... pero whag naman na paliliparin mo iyun oto mo...

    importante lang sundin mo ang PMS (Periodic Maintenance Schedule)

    Here in U.S recommended speed limit is 60 MPH for the first 700 miles or up depends from manufacturers recommendation. Anyway, a new engine is already been brake in and tested before the load to the body of the car. The reason for another brake in, is the load weight.

    yep kelangan i-vary yung speed from time to time para ma break-in ng maayos. ganun din for the rev range (dont baby it too much like shifting agad sa 2k, paminsan dapat spirited driving din). pero wag ka muna lalampas ng 4.5k or 5k rpm and dont go beyond 120kph ata (nung nagbbreak-in ako d muna ako lumampas ng 130kph haha).

    tama yun, nasa manual din yun.

    like sa akin yung restrictions hanggang mag 1000 km, wag lalampas ng 88kph, wag lalampas ng 4k rpm, bawal mag idle ng 3 minutes (when this happens sa traffic, i make sure nirerev ko siya kahit pakonti konti). the rest normal driving... except that pag sa regular cars namin e 2.2k rpm palang change gear na ako, dito sa first gear varying, minsan 2.5k, minsan 3k, tapos pag top gear na ako, varying from 65 to 85 kph sa highway.

    break in period pa rin ako for our Avanza G matic.. 2 weeks pa lang.. 2nd time ko na nang nadala sa Laguna via SLEX.. then 1st time sa batangas via Star..

    So dapat pala wag muna magshishift agad?

    Ano mangyayari pag hindi nasunod mga yan?

    Pag sa Automatic Transmission the same din ba ang break in?
