Mahal. Sold my 2009 Altis 1.6G for 320k last year. That was in perfect working condition with absolutely nothing to fix.
I'd expect a 2008 Altis G to be around 280k unless it's in pristine condition.

A second-hand Civic FD (2006-2008) will be a good buy for around 300k

I've owned several 10th gen Altises and would definitely recommend an FD Civic over an Altis.

I bought my 2011 Altis 2.0V for less than 400k. So I guess you could do better than what was being offered except pristine talaga ride niya.
Average FC ko for the 2.0V for average traffic also is at about 7.5~8km/L. Being your friend's car is a manual, you probably can do better than that also, depending on your driving habits.

Concepcion, Marikina ako. QC via Barangka - Anonas - Kamias - Kamuning. Average of 12km one way per day, at an average speed of 14kph as per the digital readout. Super light touch on the pedal, with no sudden acceleration or aggressive overtaking. Then aircon is set at just 27~28deg.
When the car was new with me, I was only getting about 5.5-6.5km/L. Medyo I was resigned na sana that it's the best that I can get with this car even with my best effort na magtipid. Then I read that the car learns from your driving habits, so I just persisted with my economical way of driving.Last edited by gearhead000; August 12th, 2018 at 01:52 AM.
