Actually, the Santa Fe and the previous gen Montero both have an official wading depth of 500mm. More than believable naman on the Santa Fe's part ang 500mm since the air intake is just beneath the hood. Though as mentioned, it probably won't do well kung nakababad, and I haven't seen any brave souls making submarines of their Santa Fe's as of yet. Whereas the Montero has been proven to be able to brave hood level floods (even though the air intake is also just below the hood!) without failing, and without long term consequences (done by a friend who still owns the vehicle now).
