February 25th, 2016 07:42 AM #1Hi.
I found a 2nd hand car and I just want to check the documents I'll be needing to transfer it under my name.
Infos:
-2nd hand car
-1st owner ay sa company
-dealer ung bibilan ko, bale binili nila yung car sa 1st owner then may open DOS sila.
-they provided me a photocopy of OR/CR.
Question:
1. Anong documents ang kelangan kong hingin sa seller?
2. ANong document and kakailanganin ko para matransfer sa name ko? knowing na company pa yung nakalagay sa OR/CR?
Please advise. First time ko kasi makipagtransact

February 25th, 2016 09:19 AM #3as ronw says, there must be an original document from the secretary or similar authorized person, stating that the decision to sell was approved by the board of directors or similar group, in an official meeting, of that company.
also, the CR must be original and not xerox. xerox promises you additional steps and possibly, headaches.
OR may be xerox.
good luck.

February 25th, 2016 10:46 AM #4Thank you, guys.
So ang kukuhanin kong documents are
1. Orig OR/CR
2. Open DOS (1st owner to 2nd owner)
3. Notarized DOS (2nd owner and Me-Buyer)
4. Certificate from Secretary
What else pa po? Baka may makalimutan kasi ako.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
