Well that was a reply to your original argument of reverse cams as a factor in buying new cars.

But if we're talking about whole package as you mentioned like aftersales service, support and parts... we have come a long way since the 80's/90's, and there are several notable companies that offer that now... I agree, the reverse cam and the other passive safety features may look like desserts but if your chosen car/company gives you that on top of the "whole package" then I think you get a better deal.

and since the model was still new at that time, "no one outside the casa had any repair parts for it"...
i still have that failed alternator in my bodega. perhaps if i bring it out now, someone can repair it, and i can sell it for the price of a nice dinner with the family....

My old 2005 Fort’s alternator died prematurely too when it was only 4 years old. Had to buy a new one in banawe at 12k iirc. Mukhang pangit quality ng alternator supplier back then for the whole IMV platform

but, ten years later today, the replacement alternator is still going fine.
i think, the thailand-sourced alternators , well some of them anyway, were of inferior build quality. and they had immediately fixed the problem afterward. but not soon enough for folks like unfortunate us.

Kahit din naman sa 2010 below na isuzu altera may defect mga scv supply pump nila dati bigla na lang namamatay makina while driving, pero na correct na nila 2010 model up at sa mga mux, yung vibration and ingay lang ng engine ang hindi pa yata na solve sa mux, under power din yung 3.0 ng mux...

Nope what i mean is mas responsive ang engine ng forty compared sa mux and mas tahimik, yung blue power di ko pa na try hindi ako maka pag comment na dun.
