October 19th, 2020 12:29 PM #1Hello,
Im in a dilemma right now. Im looking for a 2nd hand suv within 700k max price.
And 2012 fortuner G and 2014 trailblazer nakita ko sa fb.
Hindi ko alam kung sino sa kanila kukunin ko.
1. Si fortuner madali at mura maintenance vs TB.
2. Si fortuner underpowered makina since 2.5 makina at wala pa turbo. While si TB, king of the hill that year.
3. Most of the time kapag long drive to provinces medyo puno or mabigat karga kaya factor sakin si #2.
4. Mas marami features si TB compared kay fortuner.
5. For the price, si fortuner G 4x2, while TB top of the line 4x4.
6. Fortuner got 60,xxx odo while TB got 4x,xxx
Need ko opinion niyo. Malaki din factor kasi #1

Go for the newer vehicle, as long as you know its maintenance history. The Trailblazer is like 20k km less in terms of use and that 20k km you might reach in a year or two depending on use.
If you intend to sell the vehicle after 2-3 years, then go with Toyota due to its resale value.

VNT Fortuner na yan diba? Yung 2.5 na 144 hp and not the 102 hp?
If yes, the engine will be sufficienct kahit puno with cargo. Not fast like the Trailblazer, but sufficient.
If it's the 2.5 na non-VNT, wag na.

if jut is correct, i would go for Fort, also, easy to maintain...

Hindi pa naka timing chain yung generation na yan, if I recall correctly.
