    Thanks for the inputs!

    With ride comfort in mind:
    1st - Jetta 2.0 TDI Highline
    2nd - Civic 1.8E
    3rd - Altis 1.6V

Just visited Honda Pasig. They will be releasing stagnant reservations on the 26th; so there will be available units for grab. I guess that will be the same for other dealerships. This is the best chance for those who want to buy this year; If your Bank can process fast enough.

are these open to cash buyers?
    or, "strictly installment buyers" only?

I think both, since we are financing through bank.

The SA contacted us today, may Civic 1.8E na available. Too bad we already bought a Jetta just hours ago.

Don’t feel bad about buying a Jetta. It’s like buying a non-premium Audi A3 TDI for a third of how much others pay for an Audi A3 TDI. The savings you get from its diesel thriftiness will sure make you smile.

What I meant for that "too bad" statement is we didn't have the chance to test drive the Civic.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the Jetta. What I'm looking for is there, ride comfort; Much better than my current Escape. I thought CUVs generally have better ride comfort, I am wrong.

some cuvs have slightly increased payloads. hence a stiffer rider. also an older vehicle can be felt stiff because of worn out suspension components..

Why do you feel bad after getting the Jetta? VWs are really nice cars for cheaper than the rest of the German brands.

Yes the VW Jetta is a "nice" car ... until it starts to need parts for replacement and your only option is the dealer ...

some buyers think years into the future.
other buyers think of the here and now.

    diff'rent folks... diff'rent stokes...

not for me to decide which is right and which is wrong... which is better.. which is worse..

    it's always buyers' choice.
