My father is planning to purchase a Toyota Corolla 1.6 GLI 1997 MT. This car only has 18,456 mileage and 16 valves. So my father is really eager to purchase it. Do you think this is still a good buy? or nah?

AC is still functioning well and we already test drive it and so far so good.

What do you think??

mileage seems too good to be true. marami bang sasakyan yung owner?

one can reset the mileage pero if the condition warrants the price eh mileage would not really matter. get a mechanic or a gearhead-friend for a third opinion

Yup, marami silang sasakyan.. Bigay ng anak nila ung car but since they are not using it they decided to sell it.. Yup a mechanic already check it and its good nman daw.. pero doubt ako kasi luma na ung model and im nor sure if kaya nya pa mga long rides.

We are planning to pay it this friday so I really need expert advise. Is this really worth purchasing?

Is the price worth it?

IMO, low mileage or not, it is still an old car and i'd probably find better comfort and space with a newer Vios.

Eto po kasi mga doubts ko.

1. Long rides, kaya nya pa kaya mgsurvive?
2. Availability of parts, since decade old na sya.
3. Resell value???? -- i think mejo malabo na to

Buy a hammer, mura lang kung sakit sa ulo lang hanap mo. But for half the price then go for it

ganyan lang talaga presyo niya pang 100K sa 97 model..pero dapat good condition pa siya pero kung medyo may nakikita kang may mga papa ayos pa like suspension mga belts.timing belt..gulong..power windows..dapat mga 80K lang ang 97 model..kung sa long drive naman basta walang problema makina sa over heating .i uuwi ka niyan sa bahay dahil matibay ung makina ng ganyang model..kaso nga lang medyo malakas sa gas ang gli ..tawaran mopa kung sa palagay mo ibibigay sa tawad mo..
