July 20th, 2012 02:12 PM #1hi mga tsikoteers,
ask lang kasi po im planning to set up sound system, ask ko lang po pano ba makapag save ng trunk space? and ano po ba box ang dapat gamitin pag loud and clear ang gusto? and na isip ko din na sana dun na lang sa rear seat lagay ung subs, un tipong naka mold xa sa back seat para maka save ng space.. what do you guys recommend? and ano po ba pros/cons pag nasa rear seat yung subs? TIA!

Loud and clear + space saving doesn't go hand in hand. This is because to output LOUD amount of bass from your subwoofer, you'd be needing a lot of air space. This means your ported box would usually be around 2.0cu.ft or more on a cone area of 12" above.
As for subwoofers, you won't like shallow-mount subwoofers as normal subwoofers would play louder and handle better power compared to shallow-mount subs.
What do you mean nakamold sa back seat? Which car do you have? Hirap kasi i-visualize if you simply give the specifics and not which car.
Again, I would want you to re-evaluate your wants. What kind of LnC setup would you want? Something that can be heard a few blocks away or a few cars away? Either way, LnC setups are hugely dependent on your front separates/raw drivers than your actual subwoofer system.

naka-mold sa back seat so ibig sabihin free air siya? as in yung trunk mo ang magiging box mo? imo, di siya recommended... una, sigurado mas malakas pa ang rattle sound ng trunk mo kesa sa sounds mo, unless naka-deadened yung trunk mo pero still not sure kung mawawala yung rattle o baka ma-lessen lang.. saka syempre yung potential ng sub mo, di mo makukuha yung gusto mong tunog o bayo nito... pero sigurado naman may space ka sa trunk mo...

Like I said, your LnC performance is directly tied to how much you would sacrifice sa space. You can always be creative sa installation mo but a ported box will eventually eat up space..
