I won't comment on the sound setup, however there's no need for any upgrading of the alternator or the battery if you'd be installing those

If I haven't heard it, I reserve my judgement on it. Pangit kasi magbigay ng opinion without first listening to the said components ;)

To all Bros /tsikotcitz,
Got Sportivo 2007, 3rd row facing front/folding. Contemplating to "upgrade" my current factory sounds.Newbie din si ako, but loved music and prefer to hear from affordable gadgets. Sa nakita ko sa mga kotse..the so-called "box" is medyu larger in size. This is a question in my thoughts, how to apply on my unit behind the 3rd row seat when sometimes I got baggages in there.Meron pa kayang other options to have a modest sound set-up sa kagaya ng unit ko rear areas usage(dont like roof basket provision)?
Thanks all.

Easiest way is just to get a decent HU, a 4 channel amp a pair of seps for the front stage. I normally dont use rear fill but since the Crosswind is a big car then you may want to use a pair of coax for the rear. Ask your instaaller if he can fit a 8 inch shallow mount sub in a small sealed box under the front seat. I've seen pics of this done in a innova. IIRC, they used Polk DB subs. It wont give you monster bass but it should sound good. Mind you it wont be easy to do.
Or just get a small sealed box and put the sub at the cargo area. Sealed boxes are usually smaller than ported boxes. They are also more accurate and musical. However, they dont put out as much bass.
If you are willing to spend for custom work, I've seen a guy install a 8 inch sub on the side of a BMW diesel SUV. It really looked stock. he placed the amps on the other side wall. But that kind of setup will cost big bucks. Be prepared to shell out mucho money for custom fiber glass works.
