Re: audio set-up for beginners [continued]
Question to all --
Any decent store with a good selection of stuff in MM that is open on sundays?
Most of yung kilalang installers are closed ata kasi.
Stores like Blade/Concorde is the alternative kaso hindi super okay yung selection of items nila.
Re: audio set-up for beginners [continued]
hello everyone! new forumer here. :)
been in a hiatus when it comes to car audio set-up for a long time... and not updated anymore on the trends nowadays.
what set-up would you recommend for below 10k budget, for the following:
1. 2 front speakers to replace the stock speakers - what brand/model and how much?
2. 4-ch amplifier to power the front speakers and subs - what brand/model and how much?
3. re-use my old 10-inch RE sub in ported box.
4. wirings and RCA - what brand/model and how much?
5. good installer in the south (San Pedro-Binan-Sta. Rosa area)?
to be installed in gen 2 cr-v, with pioneer deh-x2750ui HU. i'm using an i-pod touch and usb most of the time.
would appreciate all inputs!
TIA! :)

As far as I know, Maspro and JetCar in Banawe are open during Sundays. Di ko lang alam kung nagbago na sila. They are located on opposite sides of Banawe. Maspro in the old Banawe area, while Jetcar is the Mcdonald's side.

Medyo mahirap si pagkasyahin sa budget, but if you are patient enough to do a step by step upgrade, given the existing gears you have, if I were you, i'd start with a good relaible amp like a 4ch- RF Prime. I think 10k fits the budget right there.
Good installers around your area is Kid Audio/DB Audio. If you can travel to Paranaque, Musico will be one of the best and highly recommended installers around.

oh, I see. Thank you sir for the advice.
For a casual enthusiast like me, do you think the RF R300X4 is enough or too much? I'm not into car audio competitions... just want a little punch. Would you recommend getting it online, like amazon? Saw one for 118.00 USD.
Re: audio set-up for beginners [continued]
Yup sir, that is actually the exact model I am referring to. May member po tayo dito yan yung gamit sa isang kotse nya, si Ninjababez. Don't worry about the specs, RF is known to underrate it's numbers. Importante your existing sub would run on 4-ohms so you will be able to bridge 2-channels from the amp to power it. If everything is a go, great! Then ipon nalang for a good set of seps in the future.

Thanks sir. Will give those a try.
