January 1st, 2018 01:57 AM #14I downloaded the Android Auto apk at apkmirror, the version I have is 2.8.574513.
I installed it on my phone but when I'm connecting it to my Civic, it says that I'm missing an app and I should download it from the appstore.
I tried reinstalling the app several times and tried changing some options sa "Developer Options" nung phone but Android Auto still doesn't work.
Any tips? Or has anyone encountered this?
What version of Android Auto are you guys using?
Thanks!

January 1st, 2018 09:54 AM #15I got 2.8.574514, working well so far.
Is the error message seen on the phone or on the car's screen?
