For around 7M, you can buy a brand new GTR. Overpriced yung mga M cars dito sa atin.

Actually for 7M you’ll get a used one, not brandnew. A new one is priced at around 8.9, significant increase from 6.7.
I’m currently hanging out with GTR owners, head scratcher daw bakit theres a huge price jump, though they’re not complaining.

July 28th, 2020 08:35 PM #4Did the math on this. I think kaya naging sobrang taas ng price increase is because the M2 CS falls in the next higher bracket (50%) sa TRAIN tax, compared to 20% for the previous M2 versions:
Assuming zero shipping cost and zero dealer margin:
M2C - $58,900 - P2.9M - 20% tax bracket under TRAIN. With excise and vat = P4.698M
M2 CS - $80,000 - P4.1M - 50% tax bracket under TRAIN. With excise and vat = P7.782M
Now assuming $5,000 shipping and 25% margin:
M2C - (($58,900 + $5,000) * 1.25) = P3.93M. Add 30% excise, 20% TRAIN, 12% VAT = P6.4M (almost bang-on with the P6.5M price)
M2 CS - (($80,000 + $5,000) * 1.25) = P5.23M. Add 30% excise, 50% TRAIN, 12% VAT = P10.4M (almost bang-on with the P10.5M price)
Despite the 4M price jump, the dealer only makes about P260k in additional profit sa sale of M2 CS vs M2 C.Last edited by Dr.Kamiya; July 28th, 2020 at 08:38 PM.
