i have a problem, meron kase free na clear plate cover from honda, the problem is everytime na maglilinis ako ng tsikot e yung tubig ay pumapasok inbetween sa cover and the plate number, pag pinatuyo ko ng ganun e ang panget, ang ginagawa ko tuloy binabaklas ko pa lahat (cover and plate) para lang mapatuyo ko yung loob, anu kya maganda ilagay sa edge nun para di na pasukan ng tubig? yung di halata at yung hindi jologs, ok sana kung clear din, baka kse ma loose thred yung mga screws kakaalis ko at nakakapagod na din, or should i get a different plate cover?

seal it with clear silicone sealant. available sa nearest diy shop in tubes. the best will be the dow corning glass sealant, same type used for sealing aquarium glass.

Remove it. Even the clear cover produces glare at certain angle which makes it hard to read the numbers.

ganun ba, bawal din ba kahit clear as in clear yung cover?
ayoko tangalin kase mabubura yung plate kakalinis at punas, dame nako nakikitang ganung plate at ang panget din

Yung plate ng L300 na walang plate cover sa ospital nabubura na. Hindi lang yung graphics ni Rizal, pati yung alphanumerics. Basura talaga ang quality. Kabago bago pa lang nung sasakyan.
Kaya nilagyan ko na din ng clear Deflector yung Starex and Picanto bago pa maagnas yung Rizal plates nila.

Remove the plate cover then spray your plate with clearcoat paint. Repeat spraying as desired - that's what I did and it looks great.

December 9th, 2006 01:55 AM #10using a clear plastic cover is alright, unless it is tinted. the law does not prohibit placing the plate inside a plastic cover. what is being punished by law is (1) not keeping your plate clean, (2) failing to ensure that it is readily visible or (3) not attaching your plate in front and at the back of your car. tinted plastic cover is unlawful because it makes the plate not readily visible and thus defeat the purpose of the plate. fyi lang po.
