Swirl marks and hairline scratches

I've been following the washing and waxing tips in tsikot but I still saw some hairline scratches on my new car. Does this mean I'm doing something wrong? Or inevitable na magkaroon ng scratches here and there?

Naisip ko nga rin 'yon. Nakita kong pinupunasan with an old rag just before it was released. Oh well, ganun talaga.
