July 10th, 2007 02:35 PM #1i have a 2002 model car.. may pansinin na dent sya sa driver's side door so plan ko ipa-paint job..
my concern is baka pagkatapos ng paint job, kitang kita na bagong pintura yung door so my next step would be to have the whole car detailed..
tama ba ang procedure ko or mas ok na ipadetail ko na muna car saka ipa-paint yung panel para may basis yung gagawa and ma-ensure nya na same shade/tint/hue/shine yung finished product nya sa door panel ng oto?
tia!

I'm sure a reputable paint shop would be able to do their best in doing a color-match with the other panels.
so have it painted muna. no amount of detailing can be done to do color-matching.

July 10th, 2007 02:53 PM #4yes of course.. so polished na sya. more shiny of course than the untouched
panels.. 5 yrs old na rin kase car e. therefore pa detail ko sya para polished lahat..wud that be the better procedure or detail nlang muna then paint job for the reason that i have just stated which is ..para may sort of "standard" yung gagawa ng paint job?
