Last time I used my car was on Sunday. It's only today (Wednesday) that I noticed there is a huge scratch on the rear of my car driver's side. It was more than palm sized, from the rear bumper to the fender. I was able to remove most of the scratch with rubbing compound but there is one line left, I think the paint was removed na. Also may konting mis alignment.

My car is 10 years old with flawless paint then this happened My car is on comprehensive insurance but it's more expensive and hassle pa to file for hit and run and bring it to the casa. I have touch up paint pero nanigas na. I was thinking baka pwede ko ipakiusap sa casa since it's about the size of a toothpick lang naman?

What else can I do to cover this scratch? I will take photos tomorrow (daylight)

I love Hello Kitty but I need a serious answer. I can't just leave the scratch I wonder if they still have those pens for scratches (forgot what it's called)

Kung alam mo color code ng pintura ng kotse mo mas madali humanap ng magandang touch-up pen.
Pair yan, isang base at top coat.
Ang problema lang , 10 years na kotse mo kaya may paint oxidation nayan, minsan pag ginamitan ng touch-up paint lalong nagiging obvious ang gasgas.

I don't know anymore.

ask your casa friends to get you a few drops of color-correct touch-up paint.

you may also peruse the lozadas and shopies, for automotive touch-up paint. they ain't expensive.

as long as the metal underneath does not show, you may not do touch-up paint and not worry about rust.
if it's the bumper, it will never rust, as it's plastic.
they may look ugly, but they won't rust.

    co-incidence that!
yesterday, i just self-damaged my rear door's sheet metal, because i hit a lamp post base...
although the bare metal does not show, it will surely require a professional sheet metal hammerer and painter.
i was so proud of that car, naman. pristine white, i can actually rent it out as a bridal car if i wanted to.
    highs! may peklat na!

The color code is often stamped on the body VIN plate.

040 in this example is Toyota "Super White".
