Hi guys. Ask ko lang if it's okay to use quick detailing spray on windshield, windows? I usually dust it off first using my cali duster but some times kasi may mga water marks from the rain so i wipe it off pa with my MF towel na may binasa ko ng quick detailing spray.
Okay lang ba 'to? Will it cause scratches or something? TIA!

If then so, the watermarks are now a bit stubborn na.
QD will work.. but it depends on what type. There are quick wax detailers such as Microtex 0Nanosliq and there are simple "cleaning" detailers such as Mother's Showtime.
A better choice would be to purchase spray bottles that's dedicated for window cleaning. These usually have some chemicals to soften the sediments of rain/watermarks for easy removal.

July 30th, 2013 06:25 PM #6I always use QDs on my glass. I like my cleaning solution to be a bit more lubricated than plain water (glass is harder than paint, but it is still possible to scratch it), and since I use a sealant on the glass, I want something gentler on the LSP than most window cleaners (which usually contain varying levels of isopropyl alcohol). You do have to choose the QD though - some QDs can streak more than others, and while this is not as noticeable on paint, it can be very obvious when seen through your windshield.

Pwede din pala QD sa windshield glass? I still use a separate glass cleaner.
